New Report Shows Younger People Also at Risk for Severe Illness from COVID-19

A new round of data from the CDC reveals that people of all ages are at risk of becoming severely ill from COVID-19. Thirty-eight percent of people hospitalized with the virus are between 20-54 years old and many of these patients suffer permanent damage to their bodies. This data runs counter to the popular narrative that mainly people over 60 are at risk for hospitalization. Public health experts are now advising all Americans to stay home in order to slow the spread of the virus in the community.
