Anjum Karim MD

Dr. Anjum Karim received her medical degree at St. George’s University and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.  She performed her Fellowship training in Infectious Disease at the University of Florida . She is board certified in both  Internal Medicine as well as Infectious Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and  member of the Infectious Disease Society of America.  She consulted in Infectious Diseases at Geisinger Medical Center where she led the initiation of the antibiotic stewardship program at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital and then Summit Medical Group before she joined our practice in 2015. Dr. Karim has coauthored and published numerous articles in PLoS One, Transplant Proceedings, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report –CDC (MMWR), American Journal of Transplantation and in the Clinical Microbiology Newsletter.
