Non-COVID-19 Infections Acquired in Hospitals Soared In 2020

The strain COVID-19 has put on hospitals has led to a significant jump in the number of hospital-acquired infections. Infections linked to central lines for administering medications to patients rose by 47% in the second part of 2020.

Unvaccinated Teacher Who Took of Her Mask for a Read-Aloud Infected Half of Her Class

A teacher who took off her mask for a read-aloud started an outbreak that infected half of her class and some of the students’ families. Desks were 6 feet apart and masks were required for everyone. The teacher was unvaccinated, but some of the people infected were fully vaccinated. The delta variant doesn’t need much of an opening to infect you. Please, get vaccinated and wear a mask.
