COVID-19 Boosters Completely Restore Protection Against the Virus
A new study finds that antibodies from vaccines may be significantly reduced a few months after a COVID-19 booster. The study found that in general, antibody levels decline by at about 15-20% each month following a a single COVID booster shot. Yet a new booster dose completely restores protective antibody levels against the virus. As new variants (BA.4, BA.5, and BA.4.6) spread, please consider getting the new bivalent booster shot. This booster protects against newer COVID-19 variants, while previous boosters only offer some protection at this point.
