Health Officials Expected to Recommend Booster Shots as Delta Variant Surges
We are at a tipping point in the pandemic. The delta variant is different than any strain that has come before it. It is more infectious than influenza and at least as contagious as chickenpox. Vaccinated people can and do spread the virus without experiencing symptoms. Wearing masks indoors in public, even if you’re vaccinated, is essential if we want to stop another deadly wave.
