New Study Indicates Return of COVID-19 Symptoms after Paxlovid Treatment is Rare
New research investigated concerns of COVID-19 rebound after treatment with Paxlovid. The study showed that the return of symptoms following a Paxlovid regimen was rare, occurring in less than 1 percent (0.8%) of cases. For the patients who experienced a rebound of symptoms, their condition improved or resolved within three days on average. Symptoms were generally mild and all patients fully recovered.
