Israeli Study Shows Paxlovid to Reduce Risk of Severe Illness and Death from COVID-19
A study out of Israel shows that Paxlovid is effective at preventing severe illness or death from COVID-19. The study indicates the medication may be most effective in patients who are older, immunosuppressed, or have a pre-existing neurological or cardiovascular disease. It was not shown to prevent severe disease among younger adults.
