Latest Data Show Positive Signs in the Monkeypox Epidemic
The newest Monkeypox data showed encouraging signs that the worst of the epidemic could be over. Overall new cases have trended downward in recent weeks, although cases are increasing in a few states, including, Virginia, Indiana and Massachusetts. Public health experts had worried that other vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, older adults and young children could be at risk of contracting the virus, but so far this has not happened.
