Did you know mosquitos are the world’s deadliest animals? As carriers of malaria, dengue fever, zika and other diseases, mosquitos lead to 725,000 deaths per year. Malaria alone accounts for roughly 600,000 of these deaths. The challenges and successes in fighting these vector borne diseases have made clear that progress requires focused cooperation among governments, organization and citizens.
