United States’ COVID-19 Death Toll Soars Past 200,000

More than 200,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the US. A reputable model from the University of Washington projects the death toll will reach 400,000 by the end of the year. The reopening of schools and colleges and cold weather are expected to contribute to this rise in infections. However, there are still many things each of us can do to save lives: social distancing, avoiding indoor spaces, wearing masks, and washing our hands.
