California Enacts 2 New Laws to Strengthen Vaccine Enforcement
California has passed two new bills that aim to better enforce vaccination laws in the state. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) signed into law this week legislation that he called for in his push to provide “new tools to better protect public health…in a way that ensures parents, doctors, public health officials and school administrators all know the rules of the road moving forward”. Key provisions of the legislation help to prevent fraudulent medical exemptions.
