Biden Administration Pledges 80 million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses by Month’s End
President Biden pledged to donate 80 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to other countries by the end of June. The first batch will include 20 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. The other 60 million doses will be the AstraZeneca vaccine. The Biden administration says about 75 percent of the donated supply will go through non-profit health organizations and the rest will be given directly to “handpicked nations.”
