Biden Administration Announces First COVID-19 Workplace Rules for Healthcare Settings

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has implemented the US’s first workplace safety rules for COVID-19. These standards only apply to healthcare settings. Healthcare organizations will be required to enforce the 6 foot-rule of physical distancing indoors, set up barriers between workstations when physical distancing cannot be achieve, maintaining effective ventilation systems, and offer paid time off for employees to receive and recover from the COVID-19 vaccine.
