Regular Exercise Pre-Pandemic Lowered Risk of COVID-19 Infection
According to a new recently published study, people who got regular exercise before the pandemic were 10% less likely to experience a COVID-19 infection. The study supported previous research that showed moderate to intense exercise lowered the odds of suffering severe illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19.

Respiratory Virus Levels Remain High Across Mid-Atlantic Region
Respiratory virus activity remains high in much of the US. Flu cases are rising in New Jersey and some other Mid-Atlantic states, as the Influenza B strain causes a new wave of infections. Hospitalizations from COVID-19 and RSV are declining, but remain elevated.
