COVID-19 Keeping a Firm Grip on New Jersey and the US
January 2021 was the worst month for cases in Burlington County since the pandemic began. While we’ve made progress in getting people vaccinated, the risk of infection remains very high. We know the new COVID strains that are taking hold in the US are more dangerous than previous strains and that the vaccines don’t protect against them quite as well. Despite many governors’ plans to open up more indoor activities, we urge you to continue social distancing while more of population gets vaccinated. If we all hang in there for the next couple of months, we could finally turn the corner. We can do this!
