Omicron Variant Resists Key COVID-19 Treatments
Two of the three monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 have limited effectiveness against the Omicron variant. Supplies of the only remaining monoclonal treatment are running very low. We are in the midst of an extremely dangerous surge and have lost a critical tool to fight the virus. Even if you’re vaccinated and boosted, we advise you to be cautious over the next few weeks to protect yourself and those around you.
