States Struggle to Distribute Vaccines, Meet Demand
Heath departments and health systems have struggled to efficiently and equitably meet demand for vaccines. As the number of people eligible to receive the vaccine grows, the supply of doses is not keeping up. Without a well-funded national plan, including a ramp up in vaccine production, states will likely continue to face challenges administering the vaccines.
