Mazher Rasool, MD

Dr. Rasool received his medical degree at the University of Central Punjab. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Illinois, and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in New Jersey.Dr. Rasool has passion for gardening, rafting and skiing. In his free time, he loves taking his twin daughters to road trips.

Dr. Rasool has worked closely with Internal Medicine Residency Program at Temple University School of Medicine, and has served as clinical faculty at The Commonwealth Medical College in Pennsylvania. He is a member of American College of Physicians (ACP), Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), International Antiviral Society (IAS) and Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and in Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Rasool has received multiple awards from ACP for vignette presentations. He previously served on the Patient Advisory Council in Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He currently serves as the Chairman of Infection Prevention at the Acuity Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey. He joined our group practice in 2015

Dr. Rasool has special interests in caring for patients with complex infections in long term care environment and those with HIV infection and related conditions. Dr. Rasool has passion for gardening, rafting and skiing. In his free time, he loves taking his twin daughters to road trips.
