Dr. Greg Matthew Teo joined our practice in 2020 after completing his Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr. Teo graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Ateneo de Manila University in 2008. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine-Masters in Business Administration (MD-MBA) degree in Medicine and Public Health. Greg trained in Internal Medicine at St. Peter’s University Hospital and Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Teo has volunteered hundreds of hours providing medical care and facilitating educational programs to underserved communities in the Philippines. As the Senior Health Officer for Alaminos City medical missions, he provided both primary health care and maternal pre-natal care to people in poor communities.

Teo also has a passion for research. Throughout his career he has given numerous conference presentations and conducted several studies, such as an investigation into the use of Pitavastatin to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in HIV-infected adults. Dr. Teo speaks 7 languages, including English, Spanish, Tagalog, Cebuano, Hookien, Ilonggo and Mandarin. His ID interests also include transplantation medicine.
