Over 937,000 Americans have died from COVID-19. We may have become somewhat numb to seeing these huge numbers of deaths. But think back to the Fall of 2019, before you ever heard of COVID-19, and imagine if someone told you a virus would kill nearly a million people over the next 2 years. This would be an unimaginable loss of life for most of us. As cases and hospitalizations drop, this is also a hopeful time. It is possible this was the last major wave of the pandemic. Whether this actually happens is up to us, and the choices each of us make today. We can prevent COVID-19 from rebounding once again if we mask up in indoor public places, avoid large indoor crowds. and get vaccinated/boosted. You can find vaccination appointments here .
