CDC Urges Americans to Get Vaccinated as Flu Season Ramps Up
According to government data, flu season is ramping up quickly as doctor visits for flu-like symptoms have surpassed the national baseline for two straight weeks. Four more states are reporting high flu activity, bringing that number to 10 so far this flu season. The CDC strongly recommends that everyone over the age of 6 months get vaccinated right away as it takes at least 2 weeks for the body to build an immunity to the influenza strains.
