New State Law Aiming to Boost Vaccination Rates for Schoolchildren Supported by Vast Majority of Californians
A new poll conducted by the UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies revealed strong, widespread support for a new law aimed at improving enforcement of vaccine exemptions rules in the state. S.B. 276 is popular among a wide away of demographic groups, including income, education, and location. The law is backed by the overwhelming majority of Democrats (90%), independents (82%) and Republicans (73%) in the state.
