Many summer camps are changing their vaccine policies in response to this year’s historic measles outbreak. The stricter rules are particularly important for camps in New York, which accounts for the majority of measles cases this year. In the US as a whole, over 10 million children participate in summer camps annually and health officials are concerned that they will become incubators for the disease.
