Infants Now at Risk for Ebola in Congo
Days after rebel attacks in Congo forced evacuations of over a dozen health workers, efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak in Congo are suffering another setback. A small number of infants, a group not normally susceptible to Ebola, have contracted the virus. Officials believe the disease may be spreading through breast milk or close contract with an infected parent.

The source of the salmonella-tainted romaine lettuce that caused all romaine products to be recalled last week has been narrowed down to farms in Central and Northern California. The FDA has announced that lettuce not grown in these regions should be safe to eat.
