Over 99 percent of people who died because of COVID-19 last month were were unvaccinated. Even though vaccines are widely available, cases continue to rise throughout the country. Unfortunately we are seeing a growing divide in the pandemic’s impact between vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans. About .8 percent of people killed by the virus received the vaccine.
