CDC Considers Double-Masking Policy as a New COVID-19 Variants Take Hold

Dr. Fauci and other officials report that health agencies are studying the effectiveness of wearing two masks in preventing COVID-19 transmission. The CDC may soon recommend double-masking as the two more dangerous COVID-19 variants continue to spread.

People of Color, People with Low-Incomes Face Vaccine Disadvantage

People of color and those with low-income face yet another disparity during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are getting vaccinated at rates far lower than wealthy and white individuals. Many factors are contributing to this problem, including internet access, time and money constraints and vaccine hesitancy stemming from a history of medical mistreatment.
