Avian Flu Ravages More Poultry Farms in the US

Avian Flu (bird flu) continues to spread in the US, as 7 more farms experienced outbreaks in multiples states, including Indiana and Michigan. In the last month alone, the virus has hit 62 US poultry flocks (31 commercial and 31 backyard), wiping out 1.65 million birds. The midwest has suffered the worst, particularly Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana.

ByHeart Recalls All Baby Formula Due to Bacterial Contamination

ByHeart expanded its recall to include all its products after testing revealed they contain harmful bacteria. At least 15 babies have now been hospitalized for botulism, a condition caused by the bacteria contaminating the formula.
