A cat has died after consuming raw pet food contaminated with Avian Flu, also known as bird flu. The tainted product, sold by Northwest Naturals, was recalled voluntarily by the company after testing confirmed the presence of the virus. The affected product is the Feline Turkey Recipe raw and frozen pet food. The contaminated batches were shipped across the US via distributors in California, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington and Florida.
