Evergreen Orchard Farm recalled multiple juice products because of the risk of food-borne illness. The three fruit juices in question were recalled due to lack of pasteurization, a process which that eliminates most dangerous bacteria.

The majority of juice distributed in the United States undergoes pasteurization or another heat treatment process, or alternatively, the product has a warning on the label indicating the lack of such a treatment.

The Evergreen products recalled, which were sold in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, include specific cases of:

  • Korean Pear Juice
  • Grape Juice
  • Jujube Juice

No illnesses connected to the products had yet been reported as of September 3.
