More Cases Confirmed in South Carolina and Florida Measles Outbreaks

South Carolina health officials confirmed 29 new cases since the end of January, raising the state’s total to 876 infections. More than 91% of the total infections are in unvaccinated individuals.

Measles continues to spread in other states, including Florida. The virus has begun to circulate at Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, with 12 cases confirmed so far, four of which necessitated hospitalization.
