Utah confirmed 8 new measles cases, increasing the state’s total to 216 in the outbreak that started last year. The Utah outbreak is part of the active outbreak centered in Mohave County, Arizona. So far in 2026, Arizona have reported 12 measles infections (8 in Mohave County).

South Carolina Outbreak Continues to Grow as Clemson Reports First Case
The measles outbreak in South Carolina continue to expand. The state health department confirmed 88 new cases, bringing the state’s total to 646 cases. Now, the virus has reached Clemson University Campus. South Carolina health officials confirmed that an “individual affiliated with the University” developed the infectious disease, potentially exposing dozens of students.
