Flu, RSV and COVID Activity Remains High Across US

With the holidays behind us, respiratory virus season continues across the country. COVID-19, RSV and Flu activity are elevated in most parts of the US. COVID-19 activity has risen in most regions, while RSV activity is very high in many parts of the country. Flu levels remain high or very high in 43 states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Hospitalization rates for all three of these viruses are elevated. . Nationwide, emergency rooms have seen a surge of visits for flu and RSV. Young children have been hit the hardest by RSV, while seniors have suffered the most of any age group from COVID-19
