As 2025 came to a close, respiratory virus season kicked into high gear. RSV, Flu, and COVID-19 activity all increased during the final week of the year. Flu levels surged most dramatically. The percentage of flu tests with positive results climbed to 18.7%. Hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and doctor’s office visits for flu also rose significantly.
