11 States Now Have an Active Measles Outbreak

On Friday North Dakota confirmed its first measles cases since 2011. Now up to 9 confirmed cases, the state became the 11th with an active measles outbreak. Other states currently experiencing outbreaks include Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas. So far in 2025, the US has recorded 935 cases across 29 states, which is more than 3 times the total cases reported in all of 2024.
